Dimension in model or paper space? Also, how can I reduce the length of a dimension leader? Thank you in advance!

Try both out and decide for yourself.  Either way is acceptable. What types of drawings are you creating?BTW...we dimension in our layouts as we do not like to clutter up model space with non-geometric objects. Can't leaders be grip edited?

Thank you. I was just wondering, what the norm was? I dimension in layout too!But sometimes the dimensions change by themselves. ie. when moving a viewport. I thought maybe I was doing it all wrong. Thanks again.

They change?  Let me guess.  When that happens it is more like they are reflecting paper space dimensions right? An answer of 'yes' would mean you did not make the dimensions "associative".
