Hi There,

I am trying to create a brick wall and wanted to know is there a way to project texture pattern onto part?

I know about Appearance but I am not interested in appearance I actually need the part to be embossed by the texture. Is there any way to do this?

Just to be sure, I am trying to create this part so our factory will be able to use the texture in the injection mold process so this will actually imprint the texture into the part

Have you looked into the embossing feature?

Yes I have, but it would require completely creating everything from scratch and project it in 3d whereas I want to use a graphic texture and convert it instead. I think I found the solution by moving the model from AI into 3dsmax and applying a displacement modifier.

thank you for your reply I found the solution on my end
