Cannot start my Inventor 2014 in OS Windows 8.1.

Autodesk Inventor 2014 is compatible with Windows 8.1 only since Service Pack 1. Download and install SP1 for Inventor 2014 - see Download.

A plain Inventor 2014 without service packs (="SP0") is compatible with Win8.
