Overview of CAD formats supported in Inventor 2025 (import/export/AnyCAD).
A - answer Autodesk Inventor Professional 2025 supports import and export of a wide range of CAD and BIM formats. In addition to Inventor's own, native data formats, version 2025 includes built-in translators (converters) for the following "foreign" and neutral CAD formats and format versions (file import/export, plus associative references of AnyCAD models, new features compared to version 2024 are highlighted):

Support for higher versions of foreign formats may require updates to Inventor, such as version 2025.1 and 2025.2.

Support for Autodesk Fusion requires the Desktop Connector component and data stored in Fusion Team.

Other formats are available in the form of add-on translators (e.g. VRML - .wrl; GEO - .geo; SVG - .svg).
