Entering "x" in Inventor dimension text displays "dp".

A - answer Autodesk Inventor can use the AIGDT (contains mechanical symbols) font in dimensions. Some lowercase characters (e.g. "x") are mapped to certain symbols in this font. Change the font (style) for your dim text.
