Some AutoCAD 3D editing commands (e.g. FILLET) support an undocumented option RESFIT (resolution fit).

Try to answer the prompt "Select an edge or [Chain/Radius]:" with the keyword RESFIT. AutoCAD then uses the value of internal resolution from its 3D modelling kernel ACIS/Shapemanager. Works in AutoCAD 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004.
