You can use the DATAEXTRACTION command to export contents of selected texts to XLS. Much simpler method is the Txt2XLS utility downloadable from Download.

Just AppLoad the VLX file and start the TXT2XLS command. All selected text are directly copied to a table in an Excel sheet (or to a CSV file in AutoCAD Lt). It will either launch Excel and create a new table, or insert the texts to the currently opened Excel sheet (starting in the select cell).

Use fence-select to keep the desired order of selected texts.

Since V1.3, MTexts are exported as pure texts, without the formatting codes. If you want to keep the full format, with formatting codes, set the LISP variable:

(setq _TXT2XLSfullMtext T)
