Q - question

How to change weld material in Inventor weldings?

A - answer Welds have assigned the default material "Aluminum-6061", how to change it to mild steel or brass?

You can choose weld material during the initial conversion of an assembly to a weldment. In existing weldments you can change the weld bead material using the weld properties. In the assembly (weldment) browser, right-click on the item Welds, select Properties, go to the tab Physical and choose your new weld bead Material. You can also save it to your template.
