One of the new features in Inventor 2014 is copying parts and subassemblies (in an assembly) with retaining their existing constraints.

Up to version 2013, using copy/paste on parts has copied them individually - pasting created independently "floating" components which have to be then constrained again.

Since version 2014, the selected parts are copied including their constraints and they automatically form an already constrained set after pasting.

Compare the results of identical copying method (Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V) of two selected subassemblies of the Brokk arm in Inventor version 2013:

and in Inventor version 2014:

Note: if you are not able to copy parts in version 2014, apply first the Service Pack 1 or higher (see Download).
