Q - question

How to quantify the carbon footprint on a project in Civil 3D?

A - answer The ORIS tool is aimed on Autodesk Civil 3D users focused on sustainable infrastructure design. It allows to easily quantify the carbon footprint of infrastructure projects.

The ability to link designs with local material databases provides insights into minimizing CO2 and environmental impact and optimizing cost. Design iterations are also valuable for making informed decisions early in the design process.

See how it helped the emission reductions through placement of surplus materials and circular economy on the project of a train line from Helsinki to Turku.
