AutoCAD layouts are sorted alphabetically when printing or publishing. But alpha sorting does not sort properly sequentially numbered layouts - see the status in the dialog of the LOman utility:

Alphabetically

With the freeware LISP utility CADstudio LOman you can sort your layouts also numerically so that printing will give a proper, logical order:

Numerically, Tabsort

You can download the LOman application from Download and load it with APPLOAD.

The LOMAN command invokes the dialog, the -LOMAN command starts the commandline version of this function.
